I am absolutely guilty of complaining about where I am in life. I may not have as much as I want but I definitely have nothing, and i mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about. I'm alive. I have a roof over my head. I have clothes to put on my back and shoes to wear on my feet. I have a wonderful family! As any other family we have faults but we are still here alive and well. Yesterday in Haiti, they experienced an earthquake at a 7.0 magnitude. That was the most powerful hit to Haiti in a century. And they were experiencing after shocks that were measured at 5.9!! Haiti is already one of the poorest countries in the world and to have a disaster such as this unbearable. I'm not even Haitian but i feel the pain of each and every one of them. We are all human. No one is greater than another. Times like these we have to stand strong as a people and try to help out in any way we can. I've texted the Yele organization and I will be collecting food trying to do my part and help. I think its the least we can do!

So far I know that these too churches in Brooklyn are holding drives:
Friday @ 7pm
Remsen Church of God
627 Remsen Ave.
Sunday
Emmanuel Church of God
1365 Flatbush Ave.

Wyclef Jean also has an organization where you can donate. The YƩle Haiti Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable organization in the USA as well as a registered NGO in Haiti.
Please help and donate!!! www.yele.org!!
The fastest way you can donate is by texting YELE to 501501. A $5 donation will automatically sent and will be billed to your phone bill.

PLEASE HELP! Some many people here in the States still are unable to reach their families! It has to be a very nerve racking feeling but let's do our part to help! Thanks Guys!
